After an evening march on Jan. 8, more people gathered at the U.S. Courthouse to protest the death of Renee Good.

Several southwest Missouri organizations came together to organize a protest march in Springfield Thursday night. It was in response to the killing of Renee Good by an ICE officer in Minneapolis. The gathering started on Park Central Square, then protesters held signs and chanted as they marched to the federal courthouse.

About two dozen people gathered in Springfield Saturday afternoon to protest the recent U.S. strikes on Venezuela.

The killing of Renee Nicole Good has become a flashpoint across the country. Over 1,000 protests are planned for Jan. 10 and 11 in response.
