WATCH LIVE: The University of Alabama at Birmingham announced Friday that interim head coach Alex Mortensen was promoted to the full-time role. Mortensen, 38, is in his third season at UAB and was named interim head coach back in October following the firing of former head coach Trent Dilfer.
